Senator Thomas A. Daschle Comments on The Cuba Consortium in the Washington Post

The Cuba Consortium, a member-based group of organizations and individuals monitoring U.S.-Cuba normalization, has expanded its Advisory Board, adding former U.S. Senator Olympia Snowe, former U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano and former chair of Johnson & Johnson William C. Weldon. In this Washington Post article, Senator Thomas A. Daschle, co-chair of the Advisory Board and founder and chairman of The Daschle Group, discusses the role of the group, which is a project of The Howard Baker Forum.

"Our role is to serve as a convener and bring experts to the table who can talk about every aspect of the transformation that's taking place between Cuba and the United States," Senator Daschle said. "We've been very encouraged by the support we've received and the degree of interest there is across the board."
