Mr. Saffles is a member of the Firm's litigation practice group and practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation and tort defense. He has litigated cases in state and federal court and in arbitration, has tried jury and non-jury cases, and has briefed and argued appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and in the Tennessee Court of Appeals.

Mr. Saffles has represented retailers, financial institutions, manufacturers, hospitals, nursing homes, professionals, amusements, insurance companies, trucking companies, and other businesses in a wide variety of cases. His experience includes defending lawsuits alleging products liability, including toxic exposure to asbestos and styrene, premises liability, medical and legal malpractice, negligence, fraud, malicious prosecution, consumer protection violations, bad faith, failure to procure insurance, wrongful foreclosure, and breach of contract, among others.
