John Gupton III, shareholder in the Nashville office and leader of the Firm's Real Estate/Finance practice group, concentrates his practice in commercial real estate and mortgage lending.  He represents several life insurance companies, developers, commercial real estate owners, brokers and contractors and is experienced in the formation, development, financing, acquisition, disposition and leasing of commercial real estate projects and properties.

Recent Representative Matters

  • Coordinated acquisition of approximately 1,000 fueling sites in 21 states for energy company.
  • Represented developers in development of several condominium projects and mixed use projects.
  • Working with developer in workout of real estate development on Gulf Coast.
  • Represents developer in development of its apartment product in southeast United States.
  • Represents apartment owner in its operation of 4,000 units in southeast United States.
