Jennifer A. Sink is in our Memphis office. Her main area of practice is in medical malpractice and nursing home litigation, representing the interests of physicians and other health care providers, medical groups, hospitals, regional nursing homes and inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. She has successfully defended clients in several jury and bench trials as lead and second chair.

Part of Ms. Sink's health care representation includes proactive counseling on liability issues for medical staff. She designs and executes training programs for RNs and LPNs on a variety of issues, including charting and documentation and matters specific to communication skills, IV care, wound care, general nursing practices, and labor and delivery.

Ms. Sink's liability defense extends to issues surrounding premises liability, products liability and mass tort, automobile liability and insurance defense. Her commercial litigation and business disputes experience includes breach of contract matters and covenants not to compete.

  • Counsel and defend physicians and clinics for Tennessee's largest medical malpractice carrier.
  • Counsel for largest multi-facility hospital system in Memphis, Tennessee.
  • Counsel for multi-facility rehabilitation with facilities throughout Tennessee and the southeast.
  • Jury verdict in favor of neurosurgeon alleging negligent performance of spine surgery, contraindicated use of surgical rods and lack of informed consent.
  • Jury verdict in favor of pulmonologist in wrongful death action alleging negligence in failure to timely order intubation.
  • Jury verdict in favor of estate of deceased individual involving civil rights violations.
  • Successful defense of business involving attempted debt collection.
  • Pro bono representation of individuals in immigration matters, including asylum, termination of removal proceedings and naturalization applications.
  • Summary judgment obtained in a variety of cases, including medical malpractice, breach of contract and premises liability.
  • Summary judgment for business involving issues of class action settlement and res judicata.
