James H. Daigle, senior counsel in the Firm's New Orleans office, concentrates his practice in the areas of products liability, commercial property insurance defense, complex litigation and general casualty law. Mr. Daigle has 40 years' experience in the areas of maritime law, insurance coverage, energy law and environmental law. He has acted as lead counsel in hundreds of cases involving both brown and blue water maritime activities and has handled cases in the U.S. District Courts in the Southern and Northern Districts of Mississippi in Biloxi, Greenville and Oxford, the Northern and Southern Districts of Florida in Pensacola and Miami, the Southern District of Missouri in St. Louis, Cairo and Cape Girardeau, and the Southern Districts of Texas in Brownsville, Galveston, Houston and Beaumont.

  • Mr. Daigle's speaking engagements have included the Greater New Orleans Barge Fleeting Association Seminar, seminars sponsored by the LSU School of Law and Tulane University School of Law, and a seminar sponsored by Lloyds of London in London, England.
