While the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) works to prevent future terrorist attacks against the nation, the Homeland Security team of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC works to help clients navigate the post 9/11 world and the complicated new legislative, regulatory and legal terrain.

The practice is led by nationally-recognized attorneys and seasoned policy professionals, including Mark Van de Water, former senior policy advisor to the Senate Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee. With the knowledge that comes from interfacing with top level staff on Capitol Hill, the Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies, J. Keith Kennedy, Mark Van de Water, Janet L.
