A native of Cleveland, OH; Cheryl has been in the litigation support industry since 1999. She has ten years of legal technology experience in roles such as Applications Support, Training, Project Management, Litigation Support, Practice Support and Client Services.

Cheryl Proctor is the Director of Client Services at Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, one of the 100 largest law firms in the country, with more than 560 attorneys and public policy advisors located in offices in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Washington, D.C. The Client Services Group leads Baker Donelson's technology initiatives to bring added resources and value to their clients. Using cutting-edge technology to streamline the practice of law allows attorneys to provide the most efficient and cost-effective service. Client Services is comprised of Litigation Support, Practice Support and Video Services, which provide firm-wide technical services relating to practice specific technology. Cheryl is a member of the firm’s ESI Task Force which helps the firm with education and best practices in handling eDiscovery.

Cheryl is currently serving a two year elected term on the Board of Directors for ILTA (International Legal Technology Association). Prior to that, she served in three consecutive two year elected terms as the Southeast Regional Vice President. She was the first Volunteer City Representative for Nashville. A Peer to Peer contributor, Cheryl has also served on ILTA task forces and committees.

Cheryl holds a BA degree in Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace College. At Baker Donelson, Cheryl sits on the firm’s technology committee, the ESI Task Force and BakerGreen, the firm’s green initiative committee. Cheryl is also involved in the Nashville Office's service project committee. She is involved with the Nashville Technology Council's T3 initiative. In addition to her work at Baker Donelson and her involvement in ILTA, she regularly participates in volunteer activities at her church.
