Baker Donelson Expands Maritime Practice

(New Orleans, LA/February 4, 2008) The law firm of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC is pleased to announce that Robert C. Clotworthy and Evan T. Caffrey have joined the Firm's New Orleans office.

Mr. Clotworthy, who joins the Firm as shareholder, is a member of the Transportation Group, where he focuses his practice on maritime personal injury, energy, marine casualties and insurance coverage disputes. He represents maritime employers and underwriters in litigation in the areas of ocean and inland marine, energy and liability, with particular emphasis on oilfield, river, port and terminal, and casino-related casualties. A graduate of Tulane University School of Law, Mr. Clotworthy is a member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States and the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute.

Mr. Caffrey, who joins Baker Donelson as of counsel, is also a member of the Transportation Group, where he concentrates his practice on litigation arising out of marine and energy industry casualties and related insurance, indemnity and other contract disputes. Mr. Caffrey is also a graduate of Tulane University School of Law, and is licensed to practice law in Texas as well as in Louisiana.
