Murphy McMillan, a shareholder in the Birmingham office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, has completed his certification in "Debt Workout, Transactions & Repositioning of Distressed Assets" offered by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the global trade association of the shopping center industry.

A member of the Firm's Real Estate practice group, Mr. McMillan represents clients throughout the Southeast in the acquisition of distressed loans and real estate as well as commercial real estate development, leasing and acquisition, and disposition transactions. He serves as vice chair of the American Bar Association Retail Leasing Committee and is actively involved in the ICSC. Mr. McMillan is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law.
