Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam signed the Tennessee Civil Justice Act of 2011 on June 16, 2011.  The Act addresses a number of significant issues faced by long term care providers in liability claims and litigation.

During this complimentary live webinar attendees will:

  • Learn how to avoid creating situations that may fall outside the damages cap, including intentional misconduct, destruction of records and activities under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • Gain insight into the tactics that plaintiffs’ attorneys plan to use under the new law and how long term care providers can challenge those tactics.
  • Understand what will and will not qualify as a "health care liability action."
