This ethics CLE will review applicable Rules of Professional Conduct and provide ethics guidance on labor and employment-specific topics relating to: (1) direct communications with former employees and putative class members, (2) social media investigations of former employees and jurors, (3) conflicts of interest in representing corporate defendants and individual managers in employment claims, (4) accessing employee e-mail, and (5) the scope of the attorney-client privilege and waiver in the context of human resources investigations.
Continuing Education Credit:
This program is pending CLE credit approval in the state of Tennessee. It has been submitted to the HR Certification Institute for review.
