UNDERGROUND RAILROAD: THE WILLIAM STILL STORY tells the story of William Still, one of the most important yet unheralded individuals of the Underground Railroad. The film details the accounts of black abolitionists, who had everything at stake as they helped fugitives follow the North Star to Canada.

After the showing of the program, Charles Grant, Shareholder with Baker Donelson, will lead a panel discussion on William Still's involvement with the Underground Railroad. Panelists will be Dr. Reavis Mitchell with Fisk University and Dr. Richard Blackett with Vanderbilt University.

Baker Donelson is proud to underwrite NPT's Black History Month programming.
