Christopher E. Thorsen Joins Baker Donelson's Business Litigation Group

(Nashville, TN / June 9, 2016) Baker Donelson announces the arrival of Christopher E. Thorsen to the Firm's Nashville office.

Mr. Thorsen joins as a shareholder in Baker Donelson's Business Litigation Group and represents businesses and individual directors and officers in bet-the-company litigation and arbitration matters involving corporations, individuals, the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), the Department of Justice and state securities law enforcement agencies across the country. He also represents clients in commercial disputes, including matters involving enforcement of contracts, fraud, misappropriation of trade secrets and breach of non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.

A Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Mr. Thorsen helps businesses assess and manage their fraud risks and performs fraud examinations and internal investigations for companies. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America in the area of Commercial Litigation and is a member of the American, Nashville and Tennessee Bar Associations and is a three-time Tennessee Attorney for Justice.

Mr. Thorsen's arrival to Baker Donelson continues the trend of smart growth across the Firm and particularly in the Nashville office, which currently has 108 attorneys and public policy advisors.
