Baker Donelson's Steven F. Griffith Jr. Named to CityBusiness 2013 Leadership in Law

(New Orleans, LA/February 15, 2013) Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, is pleased to announce that Steven F. Griffith Jr. has been selected for inclusion in the New Orleans CityBusiness Leadership in Law class of 2013. Leadership in Law is an annual listing that recognizes 50 legal professionals who help move the legal community forward with energy, innovative ideas, achievements and a commitment to excellence.

Mr. Griffith, a shareholder in the Firm's New Orleans office with a national practice, assists clients in various industries including construction, marine and hospitality. He has consulted clients on matters arising in 19 states, ranging from the defense of nationwide class and collective actions to smaller business disputes. Mr. Griffith's practice includes a focus on unique wage and hour issues, and he defends nationwide collective actions brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as related class actions across the country.

A 2000 magna cum laude graduate of the Loyola School of Law, Mr. Griffith is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Thomas More Inn of Court, as well as the Louisiana Supreme Court Historical Society and the Save Our Cemeteries organization. He has been recognized by Chambers USA as a leading lawyer in Louisiana in the area of Labor & Employment since 2010. He has also been listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Labor & Employment Litigation (2012– 2013) and in Construction Litigation (2013). Mr. Griffith is a member of the Fifth Circuit, New Orleans, Louisiana State, American and Federal Bar Associations.
