Kenneth M. Klemm Named to CityBusiness 2012 Leadership in Law

(New Orleans, LA/January 23, 2012) Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, is pleased to announce that Kenneth M. Klemm has been selected for inclusion in the New Orleans CityBusiness Leadership in Law class of 2012. Leadership in Law is an annual listing that recognizes 50 legal professionals who help move the legal community forward with energy, innovative ideas, achievements and a commitment to excellence.

Mr. Klemm, who is co-chair of Baker Donelson's Oil & Gas Industry Service Team, counsels and defends companies in energy, marine, oil and gas litigation. His clients include oil and pollution clean-up companies, natural gas producers, oil field services companies, regional and national transporters of natural gas and insurance companies. Mr. Klemm is a Proctor Member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States and served on the Editorial Advisory Board of Energy Law360, a national newswire for business lawyers. He has been named to the "Top Lawyers" list by New Orleans magazine and has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® as a leading attorney in Maritime Law and Product Liability Litigation and by Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business and Louisiana Super Lawyers in the area of Energy & Natural Resources. He also has been recognized by the American Bar Association, Section of Litigation as Outstanding Subcommittee Chair for the Energy Litigation Committee. A Distinguished Military Graduate from the Reserve Officers Training Corps program at Dartmouth College, Mr. Klemm has served his country as Lieutenant, Intelligence Production Officer, Department of the Army; Lieutenant, Tactical Intelligence Officer, New Jersey Army National Guard; and Captain, Battalion Intelligence Officer, Louisiana Army National Guard, including active duty in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Mr. Klemm also serves as an executive board member for the Boy Scouts of America's Southeast Louisiana Council and as the District Chairman for Scouting in Orleans and St. Bernard Parishes.
Mr. Klemm will be recognized along with the other Leadership in Law honorees at an awards reception on March 20 at the New Orleans Museum of Art and will be profiled in a special section of the March 23 issue of CityBusiness.
